What to look for in a game?
I have been playing at Pacific poker for a few days now. I am new to online poker & would like to know what others look for when picking a game and why? I normally look for a game where a hi percentage of the players are seeing the flop, usually 70-80%. I also tend to pick games with a hi average pot. I assumed this would put me in games with weaker players since it would seem they are playing way to many hands. I have heard of other players doing the opposite & I am just curious what the thinking there is. Thanks for any input.

I like a lot of the people seeing the flop and an medium average pot size, not a large average pot size. Like high said, lots of calling and not a lot of raising.
I hate total maniac tables where people bet garbage hands like they got the nuts and you end up folding what would have been a winning hand.

speaking of which, I was watching a table phil hellmuth was playing at ub tonight.
Gave me a good laugh for the night. At that very moment. I decided I wasn't putting any money on any game tonight

yeah my assumtion may be that ub wants him to spread the wealth. get players pumped because "i played w/ phil" Besides. He prolly gets even stupider players willing to throw money at him with those limits than maybe a higher table anyway. He was cleaning house rather easily.
