Building a Poker Table
Not sure where to post this, so general poker will have to do.
I'm going to be building a poker table either this weekend or next. I know how I'm going to make it and what parts I need with the exception of a bumper.
For those of you who have built tables before, what did you use for the Bumper? Where can I get it? How much does it cost? etc etc
Also, since I'm wasting time at work anyways, I might as well ask if anyone has detailed directions on how to build a table? even though i have a good idea, its always nice to hear from those that have done it.
Thanks in advance!

Theres a wonderful tool we all can use on this forum. I know its hidden and top secret but ill give you a hint. Its under the BIG forum guidelines writing. Above the message box info. and in between the FAQ and memberlist. Try it. It works wonders.

But raquet, there's nothing there but "search" . . . I don't need to search for a topic .. . I know what I want to post about!

I still don't know how to copy a thread so I'll just write it again. On page two of this section there is a thread called "where did you get your table". There were a good bit of posts regarding tables. Poker Goblin also makes tables and they're pretty damn nice. Check them out.

thanks ballbp! I read through it and got some good ideas, but man that thread was long! I have a short attention span
A friend of mine just let me know that he used hot water insulation pipe form Home Depot for $1.50 a piece and got the vinyl from a local fabric store
