Cool "Hole Card" Covers

Postby General Sal » Wed Feb 25, 2004 12:05 pm GMT

I don't know what you call those things... of if there ever was a technical word for those. I was wondering what do you guys like to use?

Personally, I many times use a chip from other casinos I've been too. How bout you guys?

No response on this topic but it reminds me of a funny story. A couple of years ago in Vegas I went to the cashier at my favorite $5 black jack casino (Imperial Palace-great waitresses too). My buddy went to cash in some chips too, the cashier told him that these were from the Casino Royale-not IP. He had to ask where that was since he had zero recollection of ever being there.

Earlier the day before we were "asked" to leave IP by about 6pm because he was a bit tipsy and kept pulling his "how to play blackjack" card out. They told him that he could leave it on the table if he wanted, but he wouldnt have any of that. The nice part is that the gave us 2 free buffetts in exchange for leaving so that we could get him something to eat. He wasnt being bad, just slowing the game down a bit.

Looking forward to a repeat performance in just 21 days!

I use a silver dollar, but I've been looking around for something new.

My current chip set has 5 colors.I know that a bit many, but we like to exchange the lower denominations for higher word the end othe thr mini-trney. We usually only use 4 denominations,so i use the "odd chip out"
for my cover of my hole cards

hehe, you'll have no chance killing your cards with something he makes sitting on them.

I gotta get me one of those buttons.

I am sooo glad someone asked this question!!

I use a prosthetic glass eye. If anyone ever asks about it, I tell them it is my 3rd eye.

Talk about freaky. . . .I think it distracts people sometimes when they see an eyeball sitting next to them on the table
