Just a note... The trays that CassinoSupply sells are NOT the same as the ones 5stardeal sells. They are NEARLY identical but not quite. They are about 1/8th inch shorter and narrower. For most people this won't really matter but in my case for a custom carry case I have I sandwich chips between 2 trays and the slightly different size makes this impossible.

They are still good, they just have very slight differences that might cause problems depending on your situation.

Thanks for the info Silencer! I've never purchased anything from casinosupply.com, but have heard they are pretty good.

did you build your own chip case? I'd be interested in some basic details if you did. I got 2000 chips, all in the plastic cases, so you can imagine how much of a pain it would be to bring 'em to someone elses house.

let me know

Right now I am using this small square shape duffle bah. It's the perfect size to fit 5 rows of chip trays and I can stack them 3-4 high, so I can fit 1500-2000 chips in it. Right now I have 1200 chips in it, 8 decks of cards, dealer button, automatic shuffler, my poker book and some dice. Fit's perfectly, as if it was designed for it.

Only drawback is that it's kinda wide and it rubs against my leg when I walk with it and it's really annoying. It's hard to hold it away from your leg too because it's over 30lbs.

What I WANT to do is make a thinner wood case to hold all of these items that will be longer, about 3ft long, but only about 3 inches thick. It would be heavier because it would be made of thick wood but it would still be easier to transport IMO because it would be a hard case and it wouldn't bump against my leg. I can't decide on an exact design though, so for now I just use the duffle bag which works pretty good.
