I've played a lot of Party Poker, even more Paradise poker, and have tried a few other poker programs. Now, when it comes to free money (I haven't started internet gambling yet), they all tend to.... suck. Paradise did the best until recently, while all others suffered from a distinct problem- idiots. People who abused the fact that the money was fake and that they could refill at any time they so much as pleased. The result? People who went all in every hand or always saw the river, even with a 27 unsuited and a AAA K turn and flop. Yeesh!
Bugsys club, whereI recently began playin again, is slightly... different. I will not say that I am yet to encounter an idiot like I mentioned above, but with the ability to sign up ahead of time for tables for elimination and constant free money tournaments, I tend to find the players are slightly smarter than the usual party poker free money table.
Anybody agree or disagree that Bugsys Club is the best free money poker around? Does anyone have something better? Please share!
http://www.bugsysclub.com/ is the place I'm talking about.
Also, has anyone tried their school?

I play UB myself and yes, the play tables are full of maniac players. I play the 10/20 NL hodlem games right now and I'm up over 200k over the last two days. I don't feel like I'm using much skill though to do it - just playing a tight+aggressive game to the absolute extreme (i.e. you have to be very picky and you really have to bet big to get any hope of people folding). Just a few minutes ago I was trying to get started and got pocket aces. I hadn't played a hand to the river yet since buying in so I thought that this was the perfect time to get something going. I went all-in because I knew I would get at least one person to go in with me. Well, I got 4 to come in, at which point I knew I was done. Ya, I lost to 48c making a busted straight. Who goes all-in with 48c? People with play money.
Oh, and if you think the higher blinds tables are any better, think again. I watched one today and they play exactly the same.
It's not hard to win at these tables that's for sure, it's just boring. I doubt you'll find any good games with play money. They have those ultimate points though (you earn them just for playing and you earn more for every table you open up) and I might try those out once my account gets credited tomorrow. Those points are valuable for buying into real money tournaments and getting gifts so I think people will actually care about them. Maybe you should look into that too. That's where I'm at. I'm looking to take it to the next level without going right into real money (only been playing a week now). And, I don't want to jump into micro limit games because they will obviously have the same problems. The cool thing about UB is you can start at play money tables to built up ultimate points, build up your ultimate points in tournaments, use your ultimate points to buy in to real money tournaments, and then even get real money rewards to move up to the real thing. All of that and you haven't put any money in. I think that's how it works anyway.
Good luck.

Ultimate points, I'm assuming, is for Ultimate bets?
Let me know how that goes, I might try it if Ultimate points can be turned into free money
.
As for Bugsys, I'm trying to sign up for a play money tourney tomorrow night. We'll see if I can get in and how it is, I'll post the experience here.
PS- Bugsys it turns out is also known as PokerPages.
