The Triple Dog Dare Challenge

Postby General Sal » Tue Mar 02, 2004 8:54 am GMT

Ultimate Bet has these ($5 + .25 ) sit n' gos... heads up... no limit hold 'em. Maybe we can have a series of heads up tournaments... kinda like tennis tournaments... we could draw randomly and see who goes up against who...and we'll crown the winner... the "Texas Holdem - poker.com Triple Dog Dare Challenge Champ"

Financially, it would make sense too... you could invest $5.25 (buy in and entry fee)... if you lose.. that's it. If you win, then you get $10... then you go on to the next guy. Hey, those two, could either play heads up at 5.25 or go for the next subsequent higher buy in...

anyone else in on this?

I would be in, but for two thingss: I have no money on UB, and UB has been giving me FITS lately . . . ever since their last client patch, it's been extremely unreliable.

Yeah i would like to do this. It sounds like a blast. Kinda like if we could get a 10 person table going to for a mini SNG. but whatever works.

Head to head is cool i guess, but I prefer the dynamic of a multiple player game. A 10 person SNG would be better w/the same/similar buy in, although difficult to arrange since you can't lock out other UB regualrs.

It would be cool if UB had a feature where selected players could arrange their own SNG. Buddy SNG's if you will. Maybe I will pop that in the suggestion box.
