not overly impressed with my first visit - the signup area was a crowded mess and completely unorganized prior to the tables opening...they didnt have many tables, 1 NL and the lowest was 6/12. We didnt even sit to play since we were literally crowded out of the signup "line" and didnt have the time to wait.
for the area, I still prefer Brantfords Charity Casino poker room by far, lots of tables (14 at peak), good action, overall good repeating players (both skill and behaviour), and still plenty of fish for everyone to feed on.
Maybe the fact that Ive never left with less than $200 profit is a bit of a biased opinion
- but if you need to pick between the two - Brantford is still the one in my book.
Cheers

I have to agree with zig about the Fallsview poker room … it took me almost 3 hours to finally sit down, the place was crowded, and the people playing the NL table kept calling large pre-flop bets with stupid hands like K5 suited and other junk hands and of course they kept catching. I was able to make about $150 after a couple of hours, but overall I wasn’t all that impressed.
I have a question about the Brantford Casino … what are the minimums for sitting down with at the NL tables and what is the skill level like?

there are none. Ive heard rumours they will be getting it but as of now there isnt any no limit tables. The limits are 2-5, 5-10, 10-20, 20-40 and the occassional 50-100.

It is 12 at peak now. I believe they removed the 5 tables from the other room and added 3 of them to the main room.
I stand corrected. There is 14 at peak.
Also they will soon be introducing some NL tables but I dont have any details other than they are training dealers now.

wasnt crazy about the fallsview when I was there. Long lines, crowded....and noisy. I did sit in and I did win but wouldnt make a habit of driving there to play. I have heard tons of good things about brantford..would like to check it out sometime.
