Wooo Hoooo - Ordered a Chip Set today (5Star)

Well, 5tar FINALLY got the 9-gram super diamond chips back in stock today, so I went with the $100 1,000 hold em set (can't beat 1,000 chips w/racks for that price, anywhere).

Kinda wish I could afford nicer ones (with edge spots) but beggers can't be choosers. These chips will be a termendous upgrade for our 8-10 person weekly $20 NL tourneys. Right now were still using the red/white/blue cheapo plastic ones. Here is what I bought:

white ($1) - 350
red ($5) - 300
green ($25) - 200
black($100) - 100
purple ($500) - 50

I think this should do us fine. Depending on the head count, we can give everyone a few hundred $'s worth of chips to start, making it at least feel like a high stakes game.

BTW - I used the SHIP promo code for free shipping, total came to almost $107 with tax. Anyone know how long the orders typically take to arrive? I'm guessing they won't make it to my house in time for this Sundays game :cry:

depends on where you are too... if you're close to the shipping location... you might get them tomorrow... you never know.

i just had two items shipped from WA here to OR via UPS Ground and it took 2 days to get here.

Yeah, I also just ordered a chip set off of 5stardeal:

100 White Dice (10 cent)
80 Purple Dice (25 cent)
40 Black Dice (50 cent)

They're based in Ohio, and I live in Vermont, so I'm expecting 3-4 days-Probably between this Saturday and next Tuesday.

They're near Cleveland. I live in southern Ohio and it took 2 days UPS.
