POKER CHIP HELP

I recently purchased poker chips off the internet (ebay) and they have some ABS coating on them to make them last longer. It makes the chips slippery and hard to handle. Wondering if there is any product out there to put on them that won't harm them and to dull the surface so its not so slippery. I already tried acetone.

never tried it, but id think baby powder would help, if it doesnt its easy to wash off too

You could by some racks and keep the chips sideways in them until the coating wears a little. . . .
