Not enough to cover the blind
This is a situation that recently came up in a friendly game that I play in about once a month:
Bob is the big blind...$50
Joe is the small blind...$25
Joe only has $10
Can Joe win Bob's $50 and the $50 from any other player who plays? Or can Joe only win $10 from Bob and $10 from any other player who plays?
I know that in an all in situation when a player is short on chips, his bet goes into a side pot and can only win what he can wager, but my buddy says that those rules don't apply to a blind situation.
Please advise....

Yikes, sounds pretty tough. Since he bets all of his money he is all in, so if he wins he will win 10 if he is playing against 1 and wins, and 20 if he beats two guys and what not. The sb doesn't matter anymore I believe, and the side pot will go to the guy who isn't all in that has second best hand. I think that is how it would go, I'm not entirely sure though, just giving the answer that SEEMS right.

Yup, he can only win $10 from any other player who gets in... This would be the main pot, and all other bets over that would go into a side pot.
Allowing the guy with $10 to win $25 would be a pretty nice break. Too nice!
