simple mistake
After everyone calls and you show what you have and then you might say you have 3 of a kind and right after you say that you realize you had a full house are you allowed to take your best hand or do you go buy how you called it?

...I believe Carson said you take the best 5 card combination you can make, this includes full-houses/sets and what not. Hopefully you would not make this mistake ever, but I would have to assume even if you said it incorrectly the dealer would correct you.

Cards speak... this means, no matter what you say, the best hand you actually have is the hand you play. Everyone makes mistakes, and if you don't see the best hand that you actually have, someone else should say something.... if they don't, thats a sign of dishonesty, and you should be wary of playing with them againl
