New Paulson Top Hat & Canes for Sale

Postby Jester28 » Mon May 23, 2005 12:30 am GMT

I have a set of 600 of the new Paulson Top Hat & Cane Poker chips for sale if anyone is interested(5,10,25,100,500,1000). I bought 2 sets but brother in law backed out on me. The chips can be seen here http://www.discountcasinogear.com/s...roduct1600.html These are the real Paulson Clay chips not knock offs. I am just looking to get what I paid for them which was $570, and I will pay for shipping, these are chips only no aluminum case, and are brand new, I just got them in on Wednesday. bandt1@iowatelecom.net

Jester,

Where did you get your chips?

Did you sell them?

I'm pretty sure we decided that p2p sales like this were ok so shouldn't be a problem i think ?

But won't hurt to advertise wider

I don't know if they're going to allow you to leave this post here, but we have a forum on chiptalk.net made especially for member to member sales like this.

if you are going to tell people that they can't post certain stuff here but that they can on your forum, i'm afraid that we are going to have a problem. the sole purpose of your post was to troll for a new member of your forum. we have allowed links to your forum to be posted very freely here and this is how you treat us? you have definitely crossed the line in my view.

Sorry Tony. I edited my post to remove any reference to another site, you can edit your quote if you want. That'll prevent people from seeing it. I am not trolling for members, I try to actually help the members of this forum and many others... long before I started my own. I want no bad relations, trust me.

My bad,

i know you try and help people here, because if that wasn't the case i would have handled the situation much differently. the problem wasn't the fact that you referred to your site, something that has happened on this forum dozens of times, the problem is your post reads like you were trying to direct someone to your site instead of here. if you are saying that is not the case i have no problem accepting that.

Is it possible that it is responses of this nature that are the actual cause for the decline in postings here. You seem to be particularly sensitive to any references to Ten's new site along with the accusations of trolling. I'm on both sites regularly I have indeed seen a significant drop in activity here lately, though I don't see those posters that have gone away from here, posting on Ten's forums but I do see folks who would be active here if there were any activity being active on Ten's forums.

When I first noticed the drop, I thought it was just the summer slump with the kids getting out of school for the summer. Do you think that some formerly active members may just be going away because they no longer feel welcome here? Or maybe they feel that the forum moderators are getting a bit heavy handed?

i'm sorry you feel that way, but i'm afraid that the facts don't support your claims. there are MANY direct links to Ten's forum......including some group buy threads. one by Ten himself with giant letters saying all discussion about the buy will take place on his form with a link to the thread. also, i think you are taking the trolling remark in a manner other than what was intended. i have visited Ten's forum on many occasions (although not lately) and wish him nothing but success with his site. unfortunately, i often have to be the bad guy on this forum and am the one who has to deal with people who are doing things that they shouldn't. if this makes people think i am acting heavy-handedly, i guess it goes with the territory. if anyone has any questions about why certain things get done around here they can PM me and i will be more than happy to answer any questions.
