help with the chip

Postby dirit43 » Mon Mar 29, 2004 10:28 am GMT

Our school is going to hold a Texas Holdem tourny for charity. We are hoping to get between 80-100 people at a $100 buy in. Does anyone have any opinions on what the starting chip count and denominations should be? What about what the blinds should start at - We want to give everyone a good playing experience but don't want the tourny to last longer than five hours. Thanks.

what I meant to say is we'd like everyone to start with about $2000 in chips (not a $100 buy in)

You will have to check with some legal issues on that too.
