Pot Limit Omaha cash hand to look at

Postby Ciso_B » Tue Mar 23, 2010 2:08 am GMT

So its early into this session, villain is from brazil, i have no notes, only 30 hands on him.

This particular game is plo 100 ante/deep game 20c ante.

Im utg 6 max wiht A :spade: 6 :spade: 7 :spade: 5 :diamond: . I don't know if this is typical plo strategy, but ep I generally dont riase much, cos i dont want to raise/call and be oop, i prefer to play smaller pot if possible especially since we're deep.

Neway, I limp, and immediate left riases to $5.70 he plays 30/19 over 300 hands, but thats not too relevant rly, cos im never rlly limp 3betting stacks this deep.Button flats and we're 3 handed.

Flop 10 :spade: 9 :spade: 7  .

I check, raiser bets $19 (pot bet), button flats. Now me and the guy to my left have like $200 the other guy is with $145. I have 1 blocker off my nut flush draw but i have to call still imo. Turn is 4 :diamond: .

It checks round.. and river is J :spade: . Pot is $76. I go to bet $55, then reconsider c/r then realise that actually the Js brings about sf's , and i have many cards which eliminate other flushes ! So I bet, but not huge, $38 , like 1/2 pot... first guy folds other guy raises to $115...

fold?

Can it be right to fold here often enough to do it? He has to have [Qs] [8s] or [Ks] [Qs] ? I dunno, maybe it is because he'd have to be pretty special to be raising with [Ks] flush here but I'd have a hard time putting this down.

The more I think about it, I have no idea what he'd raise with other than the SF but still :|
