Quirky Sundays on Stars
I've noticed some consistent behavior on Stars low limit ring games on Sundays since I switched over. I've seen two odd sets of behaviors that I don't really see on other days at the $2/4 and $3/6 games I usually play:
1. Average pot sizes are smaller. The games just seem to be tighter. I like a game with an average pot size of 6 x the big bet with less than 33% players per flop. It is just much harder to find this game on Sundays.
2. The games are flighty. Players seem to come and go much more rapidly than on other days. Therefore the nature of the game can change significantly in just a few minutes and tables can go from 9 players to 5 (with 2 sitting out) in just a minute or so.
There are a lot of special tournaments on Sundays on Stars. It may be that the regular ring game players are involved on tournys?
Has anyone else noticed any differences in play on Sundays or other days? Am I imagining things? (It wouldn't be the first time.)

Games tighter on a weekend? Are you sure? I have always found the weekends are perfect times for the casual player because they are off work and can stay up longer/play all day. More casual players usually results in juicier games.
