Raising Amounts
Quick Question,
Part1: (No Limit)
When people say raise 3x Big Blind, what do they mean?
Say the BB is $1. Is a 3BB raise, $4 in total (the $1BB + 3xBB), or $3 total (just the 3xBB)?
Part2: (Pot Limit)
Is raising the Pot, the amount in the Pot after you have called?
eg. $3 in the Pot, player A bets $2. Is the maximum I can put in the middle $9? ($2 for the call + $7 which is now in the pot)

It depends what they say. If they say "I'll raise 3xBB" then it is probably call+3xBB or 4BB. If they say "Raise it to 3xBB" then I guess that is just 3xBB.

Correct! Pot sized bet = (call current bet) + (pot after call)
