Read first before posting!
Hey everyone.
I hope you are able to find a game in your area as a result of this topic. A few things before you post though...
1. Make sure to put your area in the Subject line. If another player is browsing through looking for a game in Pittsburgh, they aren't going to click "Looking for a Home Game" or "Local Players Wanted". They want to see the word "Pittsburgh". Go Steelers.
2. I wouldn't leave your email address. Since we have such a high google ranking, spiders go through all the time looking to find anything in an x@x.com format to add to some porn/viagra/internet dating mass email list. I suggest relying on our private message system, and setting it up so that everytime you get a message it emails you a notification. Alternatively, what I do is list my email as adam @ texasholdem-poker.com . Those spaces before and after the @ symbol confuse stupid spiders I hear, and I haven't received very much spam as a result.
3. Look for similiar posts in your area. If you see a post in your same city but want to let everyone know about your game, add to that thread instead of making a new one.
4. If you post about a game or tournament that has a specific date involved, it may be deleted after that day has passed.
