river draws
i have a combo str/flush draw, 4to str,4toflush and get beat on the river??? is this norm? cause i never seem to win with these draws??, also when i have a full house, i get beat by 4 of a kind or str flush???

one time i had a made A hi stright on the flop and plus a flush draw ,still lost, would you have folded or lead out with a bet?? on the turn? i was first to act, i went all in, the board wasnt scary but he got lucky and he got the card he needed on the river?? i thought i would try an push him off a draw if he was drawing.. i feel i played it smart and he gambled? marty

Getting outdrawn with your strong hands isn't fun. That being said you just don't get it any better then getting it in the middle while ahead. If they get lucky, well, that's poker.
