Spotting Hands
Back to spotting other players hands: Chris Moneymaker was through town a few months ago and played poker with some sportswriters. They reported that after twenty minutes or so of play he was calling off hands with remarkable accuracy. On one of the WPT events a final table player was a poker dealer, I think from Reno--in fact I think it was the Reno tourny from 2005. Anyway, this guy said that he realized while he was dealing that he could tell what people had so he switched over to playing.

But he only eats it when he has a hand. Where he splits it has little to do with it. The reason you know it's the eating and not the splitting is Mike's voice-over where he says, "Now normally I'd let Teddy go on chewing on those Oreos until he was dead broke, but I don't have that kinda time."
