RPT NexGen chips 13¢ each
Ever notice that every so often, 5star will have some deals that are just a bit better than others? Stumbled on this one the other day for anyone who might be interested in NexGen RPT chip.

Just order whatever you need in multiples of 200 and you've saved $7 per 100, and you can sell off the case, cards, and dice.

I would have preferred the LV Nexgens as well, but at this price I was willing to make a compromise for a cheap NCV set.
I don't know if the pricing is a mistake or intentional but I just figured I'd share it while it was there.

How can you possibly need more nexgens? LOL
LMAO...I "need"
I really shouldn't care because they're my side game chips now but I'm obsessed with constantly trying to improve my home game.

They upped the price
5 Star seems to have upped the prices on a couple of items this week, including these. Price is now at just over 17 cents a chip (as of Thursday, Cinco de Mayo). Bummer.

Re: They upped the price
The price hasn't changed, they just stopped their 25% off promo. You'll see their current promo when you first access the site, and yes it does come out to a little more. This changed at the beginning of the week. If you don't like the pricing go elsewhere ... like http://www.pokerchipshopping.com/ where the 25% off offer is still available. (same company

Re: They upped the price
For the benefit of those who still haven't figured it out, Pokerchipshopping is another web site that Trademark owns. The prices and policies that you find on pokerchipshopping do not differ from those that you would find on 5star. Even 5star's maximum shipping charge of $19.95 applies to pokerchipshopping.com orders as well (even though it isn't widely advertised on the pokerchipshopping site.
And as noted, shipping on a 200 piece set alone would indeed be expensive, Trademark/5star/pokerchipshopping et al, does not seem to encourage small order. My original post was to let folk know that this pricing was available, though they would have to order in 200 set quantites (and they'll end up with a bunch of cases, cards, and dice, that they may not want or need). I've got a bunch of 200 chip clear cases with cards and dice for next to nothing, unfortunately with UPS's prices these days and with their fuel surcharges, it's going to cost a bundle
.
I'd suggest ordering at least 400 chips to make the shipping worth your while or better yet 600 or more chips to get your money's worth. (600 chips would cost more than $20 in UPS ground charges).
