Rules: Extra Burn Card
Situation- Two players are all in pre-flop, no other players are involved. The cards are dealt as follows:
1. Burn card
2. Flop
3. Burn card
4. Burn card
5. Fourth street
6. Burn card
7. Fifth street
Before the pot is taken a player at the table points out there were two burn cards dealt after the flop. What should be done? Should the cards be reconstructed so the error is corrected and cards #4 and #6 become up cards? Or should the cards be played as they dealt, even though it was incorrect?

Re: Rules: Extra Burn Card
My understandings of the rules at my local casino is that if the matter can be corrected it should be, however we have had two betting rounds the turn and the river and the matter can no longer be corrected. In this instance the error was not picked up and therefore the action remains binding. However if there was no betting on the turn or river, the matter could and should be corrected by placing the offending cards and all cards after the error back in the pack reshuffle the pack and distribute them correctly.
