Rules question
Multi-way pot. Flop comes A rag, rag, First to act goes all in. Next to act calls. The next person mucks his hand in the direction of the dealer. Player 1 reveals pocket queens while player 2 reveals AJ. The muck gets mixed with the deck. Player 1 wants to split the pot. I make a ruling that the deck should be reshuffled without the seven cards in play. What is the correct way to handle this situatuion?

First off, player 1 is an idiot for not wanting to go with QQ vs AJ.
secondly, reshuffling the muck into the deck and dealing out a board seems like the easiest and most obvious answer as to a remedy. I guess the only real complaint against this would be that the dealt cards are being "reintroduced" into possible play, but this is hardly an issue considering all cards are random, etc.
Splitting pots and killing hands before showdown are usually last resorts, not first ones. There's obviously a fairer way to fix this problem, which you've mentioned.

There is a flop already which brought an Ace.
I agree with shuffling the deck and continuing with the hand. I've only ever called for a split once, after it was discovered the deck was foul.
