Hero shoves preflop for starter. Hero probably checks flop as played, gets the money in on the turn regardless of villains' action.

i know i only have 8 BB's preflop, but am i getting maximum value for my hand by open shoving? it seems like this move gets looked up a lot more after the antes have kicked in.

id shove the flop ,
imo there is no reason to check since any hand he'd bet with if u check behind is likely to call u and he also isnt folding draws

and if he isnt on a draw there is many cards that can ruin your action on the turn
