Hero shoves preflop for starter. Hero probably checks flop as played, gets the money in on the turn regardless of villains' action.

id shove the flop ,
imo there is no reason to check since any hand he'd bet with if u check behind is likely to call u and he also isnt folding draws
and if he isnt on a draw there is many cards that can ruin your action on the turn
