Should I of played this different ?
I am dealer with 700 in chips tied for chip leader Blinds 100/200
Was a long game few players so blinds were high compared to every ones chip stacks.
SB 700
BB 400 or 500
Dealer (me) 700
I get dealt K
J
I went all in
SB called with A
3
I flopped a j she turned an A
I think I should of made a min raise pre flop and shipped on flop if I hit (which I did) of check/fold if I missed
OFC it is easier to look back and see how we could of played it different. What would you of done ?

Why are you plaing in a game where there are NINE big blinds IN TOTAL on the table? Seriously, it doesn't matter how few players or long the game is, this cannot happen without the worst tournament structure ever.
If your live games are like this, you might as well flips coins for money and save the effort of shuffling.

With an M of 2.5 - I would push all-in with any random hand. I probably wouldn't even look at my cards before putting my chips in the middle either.
Geno is right though - if you are the chip leader with the blinds 3.5x the big blind - why bother playing poker? Just push all-in every hand and hope there is something good on TV for when the game finishes.

No need to throw insults around . We start 200 in chips with 1 2 for blinds for the first hour they go up double every 30 minutes then it is every 20 minutes.
1 2
2 4
5 10
10 20
40 80
( 2 hours in )
50 100
100 200
I agree it poor blind raising It isn't my game I just play it. We mainly go to have fun and play cards the woman whose house we play at set it up that way cause she doesn't want us playing till 4 am . Normally we have a lot more players and some real loose ones who re buy 3-4 times placing another 1k-2k in chips in the game Still when it gets late in the game it gets hard
I wasn't asking for a critique on the game structure I was asking would you have played it different ?
