Six seater help please

Postby Vortex » Fri Jan 05, 2007 11:02 pm GMT

Hi,

I have been playing online poker for two years and I play in six seater rooms (.50/1$) . I was wondering is there anybody who can help me with starting hands when to pre flop raise i seem to be be getting creamed all the time.

Many thanks

Bit of an open question really. When to raise depends on a lot of factors in conjunction with your cards:
  • Your position
  • The number of players who’ve folded, limped and are still to act.
  • Your read on those players.

Plus is this really the reason you’re being creamed? It would be easier to diagnose a hole in your game from a few hand examples. Assuming it’s all down to your preflop aggression might be incorrect.

If you're doing bad at Short Hands table , play the full ones.
Full table, in those levels , simply play tight. You would lose a lot of small pots, but win few big ones.
