Slippery Poker Chips

Postby scottpsu » Tue Mar 23, 2004 1:04 am GMT

I recently purchased poker chips off the internet (ebay) and they have some ABS coating on them to make them last longer. It makes the chips slippery and hard to handle. Wondering if there is any product out there to put on them that won't harm them and to dull the surface so its not so slippery. I already tried acetone.

try goo gone, make a solution with water...

if that doesnt work, try rubbing alcohol...

if that doesnt work, try recoating them with something else (polyurethane?)

if that doesnt work, order new chips.
