So mad I could scream.

Postby Soup_dog » Wed Sep 07, 2005 10:04 pm GMT

Ok... what are the odds of this happening.

9 handed table. I have KQ  . The flop is all . There are 2 others in the pot. The last two cards on the board are clubs. What are the odds one of the other players has the ace of hearts plus a heart kicker.

This is not a definitive answer at all, but Poker Calculator puts you at about 92% or 11 to 1-ish to win in that situation. Assuming your opponents were playing group 5 or better hands and no pair on board.

Nope. No pairs. One player folded post flop and I was all-in heads-up against the nut flush. I was not amused. LOL

Somewhat like this hand. I fold a J high 4 flush on the flop. Turn in the 3 :diamond: . Other guys have AT :diamond: and KQ :diamond: .

Based on the title of the thread I'd say 100%.

Happened last night on the WSOP Omaha final table too when Ivey and Rober W. were heads up. Ivey lost with his King high flush. Granted the odds of this happening in Omaha are better than hold em, but when you're heads up you gotta figure the second nuts is usually good.

Lost Twice this Month

Postby lwestatbus » Thu Dec 01, 2005 1:52 pm GMT

I lost two King-high flushes this month, both hearts and both with K:heart: x:heart: in my hand and only three hearts on the board. In one hand the other player had the Ace with another heart kicker and in the other he had a straight flush. Ughh.
