South Jersey or Philly online players?

Postby mdaniels » Sun Nov 09, 2003 9:57 pm GMT

My name is Mike Daniels and I'm a reporter with the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill. I'm looking for anyone online players from South Jersey or Philly for a story I'm writing this week about the online poker boom. I play at the Borgata but have never tried it online. Anyway, I'd like to find a handful of people that play online to see which sites they prefer, how long they've been playing, etc. My e-mail is: mdaniels@courierpostonline.com. Thanks.

i play for play money at pokerroom... you can go that angle too...

although this isnt a set up OR going to turn into some sort of bash against online playing?

or how it truly is the beginning of some sort of downward spiral towards living in the gutter in a year...

No bashing

I doubt we'll be writing anything bad about poker. Both me and the other reporter working on the story are poker junkies. He's been playing for decades and me for a few months after switching from years of blackjack playing. Karasz, would you care if I e-mailed some questions? I have to get a couple of quotes from, as we call it in the newspaper business, "real people" who play online.

That's cool. Could you send something to my e-mail: mdaniels@courierpostonline.com? That way I can write back to you with my questions. I figure you'd rather do that than post your e-mail like I did.

Well well we have an official celebrity in the forum now. Nice write-up karasz. The last time my name was in the paper it wasn't too flattering.
