Stars Connection Problems

Postby xDiamond_CutteRx » Tue Oct 13, 2009 2:28 am GMT

Anyone else had them recently? Ever since I started again on Friday, I can't play more than about 20 minutes at a time before I get disconnected, and my connection only ever goes to about 80%.

Anyone else have this problem?

OK seriously, this is horrible now. I will really have to cash out of Stars if I can't play on Sundays without getting disconnected every three hands. I'm switching wireless adapters to see if that helps, but seriously, no one else?

Yeah, I guess it was my adapter... the new one seems to work better. Odd thing is, regular internet wasn't having half the problems of Stars... maybe that just demands more bandwidth. Guess I got 2.5 years of use out of the old one, so I shouldn't complain.

I think PokerStars is the "lighter" software.
Also, the nowdays internet connections are extremely fast and can serve thousands of tables or poker software opened.

Try to check the signal again and check if you have a company... a neighbor stealing connections!

Stars is having trouble recently. It's annoying.

When I am playing more than 10 tables, there are times when half of them freezing.
Do you have the same problem? (1-2 times in an hour)
