Strange line indeed. Maybe he found a set? I don't think a straight's in play here.

I think the better question is, why no reraise on the turn?

Well, I thought, if he has a set, I am done anyway, and I am, moreless, only affraiding of flush draw to river me, so I just called. Now the river spade makes it harder...

It's funky. Very funky. The ONLY hand he could play this way is JT I think, very little else makes sense:

AK/QQ/JJ/TT all re-raise pf (esp OOP) right? I can see 55 or 33 calling pf but I don't think either lead on the flop rather than waiting for a c-bet from the pf raiser so I'm discounting those and therefore all sets and straights are dead.

I hope you called because I want to know.
