Stupid Luck or good play

What would you of done? I was in a tourney 45 players Had a couple of bad beats so was on a little tilt . Went from 1st 2x the chip stack of 2cnd . was now in 3rd of 5 players left so I was in the money and just didn't really care anymore.

Right now I am kinda kicking my self in the ass for pushing on that hand with both 1st and 2cnd chip leaders in the pot. Regardless I hit on the flop 2 pair K 10 and won went on to win 1st place in tourney.

It worked out well for me . Yet I felt like I should of folded that hand with the button raising 5x the blind .

What do you think ? Did I play dumb and get shit luck or did I play it right ? It was either Fold or push in my mind at that point

I would say pure luck. Considering button is raising after the limper he isn't that weak and you have really no fold equitty here because you are not deep enough.

Pretty much what I thought . I normally would of folded but was pissed after 2 bad beats and Really was probably going to bet anything . Betting anything worked for them to take me out of first lol Glad it worked to put me back in

Against a limp and a raise, I'd wait for a better spot than with K-T. I don't really like shoving here with like 13 BB, because we don't have a ton of fold equity, and a lot of hands that call us have us in jail.
