Suggestions?

Postby mooseontheloose » Wed Aug 02, 2006 12:15 am GMT

Might be setting up a weekly game...

If I were sitting between 8 and 10, how many chips would be a good amount? I originally figured a 1000pc set but perhaps I don't need that many?

Also, anyone know of a good chip for a decent price?

500 is absolutely doable. I have 500 chips and can accommodate a 20 man tourney.

The only reason to get more than 500 is if you are going to do rebuys or use the same set to accommodate a losers table.

500 for a 20 man tourney?

I have a hard time doing a 10-man with 500. The problem isn't so much that there aren't enough physical chips, but that there are way more than I need of some denominations and too few of other denominations. I don't like using more than one color for a particular denomination.
