Suited Ace-Rag in LP facing post flop AI

Postby LeeG » Thu May 22, 2008 1:58 pm GMT

Game is 11.5K Guar KO tourney on Tilt.

Blinds are 100/200. Hero has ~5100, villain has about 5500. Villain sees almost every flop when in LP unless very strong early action. Villain was a very large early stack and doubled me up 20 min earlier when he called my CRAI with just overcards (I had flopped a set). I have been playing pretty tight.

Hero is in CO with A  3  . Action folds to me and I bet 600. Villain flat calls and blinds fold.
Flop: 2  5  6 :diamond:
I bet 600 and villain goes AI.

Action to me?

Call. Price is right, and you got the flop you wanted. If you weren't willing to risk your stack on a draw, you should've folded preflop.
