T.R. King chips featured on Bacardi commercial?

Postby ledavatar » Fri Apr 08, 2005 12:07 am GMT

Tell me if I'm completely crazy and have gone off the deep end with this chip mania, but I think I saw a Bacardi commercial with the casino theme and it seemed that the chips on the table were T.R. King's "Stock Casino Numbered Chips." I took a screenshot from http://www.bacardilive.com/main.htm. The video is on the main page if anyone wants to take a look as well.

The 500 chip looks dead on but the color is a bit off on the 5000.

yeah, i watched the video, and the screenshot is too quick to see it, but from your screenshot, exactly what you said is right. Very interesting... maybe someone can confirm....

You're spot on.

The font is dead on, and the colors match on the 500. The 5,000 is off, but, AFAIK, that picture from TRK is old, and the colors may have been changed since that picture was made.

Good catch.

Yeah those are definitely T.R. King. They seem to make occasional changes to their stock chips, those are probably just older versions.

Nice catch!

I was at tr king yesterday -- he's making chips for the upcoming 'posidan adventure'. I didn't get a look at them though.

What is the posidan adventure. New casino going up? New event?

He also has those new stock casino chips on his website now. Interesting...

TR King has had the Stock Kings Crown on their web site for at least a month as I ordered a sample set of them on in early march. They were on the site at that time.

The chips look similar to what is on the web site, but the colors are not a exact match (at least not on my monitor.) I guess that colors come off a little different on different monitors.

He did charge me for them, I think $.90 / chip.

My bad, I mean the "Casino Inlaid Chip." It's been some time that I've visited the website, but that's the 1st I've seen of those chips.
