It's been quite a while since anyone has posted any new custom label designs so I thought I'd put some up. These are images of two sets I'd made as gifts.

The first is for my parents who have a vacation home at the juncture of Forsee Creek and the Santa Anna River in So. Cal. The scanner made the labels look a little streaky. They are actually pretty crisp.

The second set was for my daughter who played some poker in college. Her name is Jamie but we ended up calling her 'Bee' when she was young (long story) and the name stuck. Anyway, I didn't want her waking into some college poker game with ordinary chips. Notice the stripes on the Bee with each chip color.

I like the 11.5g Big Slick chips if the label will be cartoon-based instead of photo-realistic. They are cheap and durable and are really easy to color match with the labels since the colors are so primary.

There has sure been a shortage of custom chip label samples in the past year or so. It seems to me that anyone playing is going to want their own chips eventually. So all of you straddling the fence--get off of it and start designing your own chips.

Chase at The Chip Lab sold them to me. They're Chipcos. I came up with the design on their little create-a-chip program. I got them a couple of weeks after ordering them. I'm really happy with them. The whole thing cost under $300 for 300 chips.
