table selection

Postby DASH7 » Thu Feb 12, 2004 7:21 pm GMT

I've read that the best type of table to play at is a loose-passive one-people playing a lot of hands and rarely raising unless they have a great hand. Since I've just started playing for real money at UB, I've been looking at the stats for each table and trying to find one with a high percentage of people seeing the flop and a relatively low avg. pot size, figuring that it is, in general, a loose-passive table. I know that it can change rapidly and I keep an eye on other tables and I won't hesitate to change tables if I see a better one.
I was wondering what others look for in table selection?

If you're playing NL or PL games, look for a table with alot of small stacks.
