texas holdem game

Postby geetah » Fri Sep 17, 2010 2:30 am GMT

Is this a leak in my texas holdem game? I never ever 4 bet whether its preflop or postflop. Lets say i have AA on the CO in a 1/2 game 100bb deep. I raise to 7. Villian raises to 24. Even though i am OOP, i will never 4-bet as I just never do it. First of all im not comfortable with putting 1/4.5 of my stack in preflop. Secondly people can easily put me on AA, KK, QQ, or AK. If they are any good they will c/r me on the flop or float me if no face cards come out. Then they will bet the turn and i will be forced to fold as i know they know i have a overpair or two overcards.

Welcome to the forum.

What stakes do you play?

I am unsure on the post flop part of your question, but I would suggest that not wanting to put more than 1/4 of your stack in the middle with AA is a big leak.
