The Cincinnati Kid

Postby kingetje » Thu Aug 03, 2006 1:47 pm GMT

I saw this movie yesterday..

pretty decent movie, better then i expected for something out of '65

the poker scenes are actually nice to see, and are pretty realistic for the most part

plus, i never expected the kid to get busted in that final hand, you'd think it would end well, but his boat gets cracked by a straighht flush

his own fault though, who the hell raises when your opponents board has 4 to the straight flush already, even if you have Aces full of tens. just call....

any opinions?
