The Dark Knight

Postby Ciso_B » Sat Jul 26, 2008 9:13 pm GMT

Just got back from cinema, I noticed few days ago this film took number 1 on imdb so i figured it would be a good film. But I reckon the number 1 is down to 2 things, 1- Heath Ledger dead, and 2- its so early after its release so everyone who see's it wanted to and will give it a high rating.

Nevertheless It was a brilliant film, I am not a batman fan and no squat about the comics. But the film was awesome, the cast wicked, the atmosphere too, they captured batman really well and the joker honestly was the best. I just wanted to see him all film, whenever he wasn't on screen I impatiently waited his return.

There was few things I didn't love but overall (and I am very critical), I would give this film a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend it to any film goer.

I was sure they'd do another after this, and it's a bit confusing, cos who will play joker? Anyway, top job, wp Leadger,Bale,Caine,Freeman,Oldman and to an extent Gylenhaal.

Nice read, looking forward to the movie.

And mods, pretty please with sugar on the top ban anyone who posts any kind of spoiler in this tread.

I hate spoilers with all of my burning heart.

Excellent film, much superior to Batman Begins. Actually, my favorite Batman film yet, even above the Tim Burton films.

I cannot recommend highly enough.

The Dark Knight Returns would be amazing, but there is a lot of room to f*ck something like that up. Bruce Willis should be prefect for Batman IMO, he's old enough now to make it work.
