The Flop

Postby wlcummings » Fri Oct 24, 2003 8:58 am GMT

New to Serious Hold 'em. There seems to be a abnormal number of straights and flushes in the flop cards. Is this true for brick and morter casinos as well as computer generated hands.

NO! I have seen this recently too. I played a single table tourney and nearly 1/4 to 1/3 of the flops were completely suited-not just 2 cards suited.

The reason this troubles me is that is certainly encourages betting (higher rake) and big pots.
