NETELLER today announced that it entered an agreement with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (USAO) that will resolve the investigation that caused headaches for so many customers located in the U.S.

As a result, the company says its U.S. customers who collectively had $60 million seized by the USAO’s office in January as part of the investigation will be able to sign into their accounts and request withdraws no later than July 30.

Although, as of yesterday, withdrawals were still suspended for U.S. accounts. But, they still have a week to get it going.

More good news:

"NETELLER Resumes Trading its Stocks"

Despite the large hit to the share price, it's a good sign that the company is getting back to business as usual.

Got the email about one hour ago:

Dear Jacob,

The NETELLER Plc Group has announced that the distribution of funds to its US members will begin on July 30, 2007.

You are receiving this e-mail because our records reflect that you are a US member who may request funds from NETELLER. As of July 30, you will be able to make a request for funds on NETELLER’s website by signing in to your account. In the meantime, you should visit our online FAQs for more information about the distribution plan.

Please note that US members will not be able to request funds from the NETELLER website after January 26, 2008.

I'm fairly certain "assface" has biblical roots as well.

Also, money withdrawal is finalized, money in the account, everything's A-OK. Figured there'd be enough of a logjam that it'd take weeks to get, but the transaction was nice and speedy. Huzzah.
