Good job. I've been playing online for a few weeks now & I've probably played in 15 SNGs. I've placed 2nd or 3rd in probably 7 or 8 of those. I have gotten to 2nd 3 or 4 times. I have yet to win one though. Once I get heads up I have the worst luck it seems. Just today I'm down to about 1300 chips, this guy has been stealing the blinds & I have K/6. I'm in the big blind. He raises (I know he's got junk and feel this is my only chance to get back into the game) so I call (all-in). He wound up having 10/7 OS and pulled a 7 on the river and I'm done for. I just can't seem to get past that hump & win a SNG.

It is all cyclical. I am going through a stretch right now that no matter what I do, I bubble out in 4th place. 5 of the last 6 SnGs I've played in have ended this way. I have KK allin get called by K10 offsuit and lose. Its just poker. It will always turn. The thing to remember is to not change your style just because your getting your teeth kicked in. Play the same regardless of the previous hand, SnG, night, Week, Whatever. If your style is a winning one, It will win....... eventually.

I made the mistake of sitting at a $30 limit SNG instead of my usual NL(just clicked on the wrong one by not paying close attention).
It was a little boring, but I ended up winning! AA and later Q 9 when J 10 8 came up by the turn in the mid rounds gave me a big lead.

For me? $150 less the $33 entrance fee, or $117 profit.
I also won $170 playing 5/10 limit before, took the $$$ to the sit and go, won, then won another $85 on 5/10 in 18 hands. Over $350 for 2 hours and 15 minutes-not bad.
