This is a long shot but...
I go to Exeter university in the UK and am looking for someone who goes to another university and has a poker team of 6 (or can put a team of 6 together) for a friendly match somewhere in the UK (mid-way between Exeter and your uni).
I have been made promises by Oxford, Lancashire and Keele universities so far, none of which have ever come off so if anyone can do it without pissing me around, I reckon it would be a lot of fun.

Although I organised a tournament in June 2002, with another this June, and I run a weekly league, I decided not to go down the official route and become a uni 'society'. Too much red tape when at the end of the day I just wanna have some fun with mates. I imagine the uni would frown upon gambling as a society anyway and I can't see them funding it in any way!
Don't spose u could blag some funds from your union.....?
Such a shame we can't easily get together, I'll still put it to the boys and get back to you properly either way. I'm sure we'd all like a trip to Ireland.....
