You messed up preflop. When a maniac who has limped in every other time raises, it actually means a generally random hand. If a maniac is 85/5, they typically aren't raising the top 5% of their hands, does that make sense?
Also once you get raised on the big street, you can just call down from there. But no, I'm not folding here with this player in the pot and a paired board. People go nuts on paired boards all the time.
