TPTK facing lots of aggression

Postby LeeG » Mon Dec 08, 2008 1:00 pm GMT

Hand from a recent tourney.

~500 started, 120 remain, 45 paid $26 BI. Average stack 6.5K Blinds 100/200, Hero has 15K, villain has 16K. Villain is new table (3 rounds) and has won 2 hands with no showdown. Hero has not played a hand since villain sat down.

UTG limps. Folds to hero in MP who raises to 600 with A:spade: K :diamond:. Folds to BB who raises to 1700. UTG folds, hero calls.

FLOP:
A :club: T  5 :diamond:

BB Bets 2500
Hero calls

Turn:
8 :spade:
BB Bets 6000
Hero calls

River:
7 :spade:

BB pushes all in (has hero covered)
Hero?

Thoughts on all streets please.

I'd shove turn due to stack sizes. I like call on flop in case he has QQ or KK since we have position. River is call.

The board isn't' scary at any point, I think we go should go busto here w/o reads.

I was villain. I had pocket aces. A few people berated the guy after he busted, but I didn't think I'd do much different if our places were switched.

Any thoughts on my line with this?
