how do you get them? i for some reason have 6 of them... is it if you play free games for a while you start to get them?

In free (play chip) games or non-raked micro-limit .01/.02 you get 1 pt per hour.
Raked games you get more. SNG's (real $) also give set pts. for playing.

Raked games get you a LOT more.
