UK Supplies

Postby diceman » Sat Apr 09, 2005 8:15 am GMT

Is there anyone from the UK who has built a poker table and can tell me where they got their supplies from. In particular the foam padding and folding legs. I can't even find a cheap table which I can take the folding legs off.

A buddy of mine has built several tables. He uses cheap carpet padding or laminant flooring underlayment for under the felt. Works quite well.

Thanks for the tips. Ok, here's another question - I'm getting a round table (160cm diameter). I originally intended keeping it round and adding the felt and railing but after looking at www.homepokertourney.com I realised they are octagons or a dodecagon. Apart from ease of putting on the railing, what is the advantage of a octagon shape over a circular table?
