What are the good spots around vancouver?

I think Great Canadian in poqo has holdem anyone know the limits?

coquitlam limit is 6 12.. 3$ rake
you can't call in and go, you have to go and put your name and wait for an hour or so..
action is very good... lots of fish who doesn't know basic rules of poker..
slows game down though..

grand aka blueboy (3$ rake)has 4 8, and 4 8 kill... fairly good action..
some tight old mans + crazy aggresive guys combined together..

chinatown... (4 8... or 6 12 for 4$ rake)opens from 6 pm daily, slow action.. often 2 to 3 table peak time, usually 1... and closes early at around 3 am too if game is too slow..

holiday inn.... (3$ rake)highest limit in town.. 10 20.. and 10 20 with kill... still lots of action... not so tight anymore... at around 1 to 3 am.. when ppl go nuts, you can often see pots over 1500$ usually 4 games until 2..

anyone know any other poker place in town that i haven't mentioned?

You play at 10-20?

I play at holiday inn once to three times a week, depending on my work schedule and my school schedule (university)....I find 10-20 fun...

6-12 in poco is good but LONG ass wait and too many callers!

I think im gonna check out poqo this weekend, hopefully i wont get destroyed by the river.

i played 6-12 at poqo great canadian friday night, extremely long wait to get on a table like everyone said, but its what i was expecting so it was ok. Made a couple mistakes early on but played alot better later on and managed to get a few decent size pots to make up for my earlier mistakes. Overall, im very pleased with my first casino holdem experience.. gonna play there again next weekend maybe.
