It Worked for Me
I just completed a deposit using the Walgreens Visa Gift2Go approach. Took cash to Walgreens (not sure what other payment methods they would accept). Bought the $100 card with a $5.95 surcharge. Got home, checked the card balance on the Gift2Go web site and it showed a full $100. Logged onto Stars, selected deposit with Visa approach. I screwed up the expiraton date the first time and it was declined but fixed it the second time and it went right through. Took about 15 seconds to be approved and balance was updated instantly.
One thing I found was that the first two Walgreens I tried were out of this particular card and an employee said he thought they'd been pulled from the shelf. Found the $25 and $100 at the third but no fifties.
My review of the Gift2Go site showed that they didn't have any per transaction charge so the face value of the card you buy is how much is available to deposit. Stars requires a minimum of $50 to deposit with Visa.

yep, ive done the walgreens approach 3 times now. I'm not quite sure how to cash out yet, I may end up creating a epassporte as full tilt doesnt do checks for under $300. Any ideas on this?

Do what I did and avoid the problem by losing it all.
