Visa Gift2Go

Postby vyni » Tue Jan 23, 2007 6:03 pm GMT

... I just went to Walgreens and purchased the Visa Gift2Go card. They come in set amounts of $25, $50, and $100. There is a $5.95 fee for the $100's, I do not know about the others.

I purchased one about an hour ago. I put in the information into Pokerstars and it was processed IMMEDIATELY...

... also works on Bodog and Ultimate Bet... not sure on FullTilt

Saw this off on another forum, wondered if anyone here had any experience in this method that they'ld be willing to share, or at least confirm this story?

I wish these were instant, e.g. you can order one and they will email you the card number right away...

I just got a virtual visa gift card that is processing right now. The only problem is i didnt read the FAQ real carefully and there is a .35 charge for every transaction and i bought a $50 card for the first try to see if it worked. So now i dont think full tilt or poker stars will accept my deposit because the minimum is $50 and ill only have 49.65

Also, a $2 charge for the card and you get the card # and CV2 or whatever code (3 digit one) within 2 hours.

Just went thru, it worked :)

I would post the site here, but i dont want to get bagged for spamming again :)

$2 for the card and you get it in your email in about 2 hours. I believe you can make the gift card for up to $500. Minimum is $25 i believe.

This seems like a much better alternative to epassporte if you are not interested in signing up for it.

Lol mackie you can post the website.
Was it a simon giftaccount? Please do share your experience.

If the fees you stated in your experience are correct.... 2.35 to move half a grand is an outstanding solution.

I funded w/ a Wells Fargo Visa gift card with that was an Xmas gift.

I dont think that banks charge a fee for these do they? I know Visa gets 2-5% and kicks back some to the bank of issuance.

Giftcards.com

You can get a virtual visa gift card that is used like a debit card. You can fund up to $500 on it for a $2 fee.

I successfully deposited on full tilt with it, so thats at least 1 site where it worked. I assume if it worked for full tilt it will prob work for the other sites as well.

This works on ultimatebet and royal vegas as well.

PS Hey mods how about an alternate funding sticky where we can suggest differnt funding methods that work on the various sites?
